Position Summary
RockYou is hiring a number of Ad Sales Executives for its Ad Network group based in Redwood City, CA. We seek highly dynamic, entrepreneurial, and passionate individuals who have a proven track record selling high traffic and social media ad inventory. This is a highly leveraged position so self-confidence is a must.
Responsibilities
- Manage a pipeline and sell for the largest social media focused ad network on the web, maximizing inventory fill
- Prospect and penetrate target verticals and categories
- Generate leads, manage the entire sales cycle and close I/O’s with target advertisers
- Meet and exceed sales quotas and inventory fill
Skills
- At least 2-3 years of online ad and media sales, with at least 1 year in the social media space
- In-depth knowledge of online advertising industry standards and practices: understanding of the Internet advertising marketplace and players with regard to online advertising, key best practices for ad networks and servers, internet marketing applications
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required
- Ability to structure deals and develop strong client relationships
- Exceptional presentation and closing skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Able to work independently while in tight coordination with a team.
- Experience in a start-up environment with substantial growth targets and limited resources
- Experience with SalesForce.com

Sales Support Manager

Responsibilities
Pre-sale:
- Manage the development of media plans for Network marketing campaigns including placement and tracking
- Assist seller in completion of RFPs and other proposals for marketing campaigns
- Set up and manage project timeline; initiate creative kick-off calls with sales and client.
Post-Sale
- Ensure campaigns run according to plan; including timely launch, achieving campaign goals (CTR, conversions, ROI etc.)
- Provide comprehensive data and client feedback to internal team members.
- Proactively optimize campaigns to ensure that client’s objectives are met
- Communicate progress, issues, and status to all relevant internal and external parties
- Summarize metrics, provided feedback, and drive direction based upon results and data
- Drive all aspects of media deliverables including forecasting, performance reporting etc
